The Las Vegas Rotaract has been busy with a book drive/fund raiser for the 2008 Rotary International Convention in Los Angeles. So far the Rotaractors have been very successful in getting the word out about their club as well as raising funds to get as many books to the convention as possible.
The RI Convention is setting a Guinness World Record for "The World's Largest Book Drive" and the Las Vegas Rotaract has created a book drive to get fellow Rotarians to donate money in order to ensure that as many children as possible will have a new book. The book drive is for ages 6-9 years of age and will be coming from many different languages, countries, and cultures as the convention will be hosting approximately 30,000 people from around the world.

Hi Amanda:
Great idea and great start. I'm sending this through the blog to see where it goes. If this one doesn't work for you, there are plenty others out there. It appears like you have to sign in each time and have an account set up.
I like the logo. Is there a way to add something to the right of it, Like Welcome to the Rotaract Club of Las Vegas Blog, something like that to fill up the space.
Thank you for taking the initiative to start a blog. Email me and let me know if you got this?
Karen
